Episode 2: Conversation with Legendary Actor, Prolific Author, Chef, Sean Kanan

In episode 2, we delve into actor, chef, prolific author of the Cobra and Welcome to the Kumite, Sean Kanan’s illustrious career. He is recognized as one of the most well-known bad boys in daytime television.  A role he played almost 36 years ago as Mike Barnes on the Karate Kid 3 still has relevance today. 

Sean is an Emmy nominated actor, he has portrayed A.J. Quartermaine in General Hospital and Deacon Sharpe in the world’s most watched Daytime drama, “The Bold and Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” you might also know him as Mikes Barnes from the Cobra Kai Series. 

Sean won an Emmy Award for Studio City where he served as executive producer and creator, as well as receiving Emmy nominations for acting and writing. He has joined forces with his wife, Emmy Award-winning producer, writer, and director, Michele Kanan.  Together they delve into the delicate art of balancing their career, family, and marriage.

Sean discusses his sobriety, his role as an ambassador for the anti-bullying organization, Boo2Bullying.  Sean delved into his childhood and how he was bullied as a kid, and his collaboration with Boo2Bully to facilitate dialogue with kids who are being bullied, those bullying, and those witnessing it.
